The aim of this work is to establish the mapping nitratres of the plain of Mitija showing the proportions of nitrate concentrations in the plain by making use of various geological and hydro-geological studies conducted by the National Agency of Water Resources and National Meteorology Institute in the years (2011-2015). Plain Mitija is experiencing a serious crisis in terms of air pollution and contamination of surface and groundwater due to the irrational use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture, and industrial waste, in particular the west side of the Mitija that contains a large proportion of nitrates up to 121.8 mg /l.en_US
