Plain Ain Djasser is located seventy kilometers northwest of the capital of the province of Banta and belongs to the watershed of the high plateaus of Constantine. It is characterized by a diverse topography, low altitude for the plain and accentuated by massives. From a hydro-geological point of view, the study of the shallow aquifer shows a very low power direct surface infiltration during rainfall and significant side feed from Limestone Mountains surrounding the plain of AinDjasser. Potentiometric surface morphology folded following the topography. Water chemistry showed the predominance of bicarbonates of calcium and magnesium-which seem to be related to the geological nature.en_US
