Abstract: | Through this modest study, the phenomena of corrosion and scaling in metal pipes buried in the ground have been explained, leading to significant performance losses and sometimes acute technical issues. The study extends beyond a simple theoretical analysis, as it also includes a real-life case study involving the application of cathodic protection on the AEP Ain Azel pipeline to ensure its proper functioning. |
