dc.description.abstractThe dissertation addresses an issue related to water quality preventing infections caused by water, underscoring the objective of a study on the physic-chemical and bacteriological characteristics of the waters from the Bouhanifia dam, crucial for the water supply of the city of Mascara. To achieve this, analyses were conducted using standard methods over a three- month period, from August to October 2023. The analyses focused on various parameters, including chemical composition, pollution parameters and physical properties. The conclusions drawn from these analyzes indicate that the quality of the treated water complies with Algerian and WHO standards. To conclude this work, we have formulated recommendations aimed at improving the quality of this water.en_US
