The desalination process is essential for obtaining fresh water from saltwater, primarily seawater. Multi-stage flash distillation is one of the most commonly used techniques, relying on the method of evaporation and condensation to remove salt and transform it into fresh water. To understand this technique, we used the GL2/Z collector as an example to explain its operation, outlining all the problems that can affect its efficiency, while identifying the reasons for this decrease. Finally, we have developed an action plan to address these issues if they arise.en_US
