dc.description.abstractThe supply of drinking water requires the installation of appropriate pipes, which are often connected to each other by special parts including elbows. In our current work we are going to the functioning of these connecting elements, their durability but also their vulnerability, paying particular attention to the behavior of the entire drinking water supply system. To reach the goal of our study we will present and explore the world of making elbows and their operation. The result of our research shows that the method of hot or cold bending, as well as the type of material used for its manufacture are important in the operation of the elbow, this on one side, on the other side the angle of deviation is important to define the vulnerability of the elbowen_US
