Etude d'aménagement hydraulique d'Oued El Malah commune de Sidi Aissa (w. M'Sila)

Abstract

This work is aimed at the management of the Wadi El Malah in order to protect the Sidi Aissa city against floods that present a continuous threat to homes and public property that are located predominantly near the Wadis. To deal with this, several disciplines were involved. In a first phase a hydrological study was established for the analysis of rainfall and the determination of the design discharge. Subsequently, a topographical study followed by a simulation of the project flood with the HECRAS software. At the end, the proposal of the design variants and the choice of the most suitable variant from a technical and economic point of view was retained.
