Etude d'aménagement hydraulique d'Oued Beni Chaib pour la protection du centre Beni Chaib contre les inondations (w. Tessemssilt)

Abstract

The problem of natural disasters in general and Flood hazards in particular is one of the problems that man cannot control but minimizes such damage for the main purpose of preventing the loss of human life. The latter marks a memorable action in the world and specifically in Algeria. The present work aims at dimensioning a hydraulic system to allow the passage of the floods of Oued BENI CHAIB crossing the citie of BENI CHAIB which is located in the wilaya of tissemsilt. In this context, we have had recourse to several disciplines. First, we established a hydrological study for the analysis of precipitation and the quantification of flows. Then a topographic and hydraulic study for the simulation with the HEC-RAS software. Finally, a description of the proposed development variants in order to be able to choose the most suitable variant from a technical and economic point of view.
