Abstract: The purpose of this study is to establish a diagnosis of the drinking water supply network of the city of Chebli (wilaya of Blida). Through this study, we will first give an overview of the actual situation of the hydraulic resources, the network and the various storage structures. Then, we moved to estimating the water needs of the rehabilitation of the city of Chebli at the horizon 2053. Given the degraded state of the distribution system and its inability to satisfy the needs of the population in terms of quantity and quality, we are going to design two new reservoirs. The physical and hydraulic diagnosis allowed us to discover the causes of the faults recorded on the network, the most important of which is the lack of water in several places and the major leaks, which were revealed by the large number of interventions on the network, which cause a significant decrease in pressure, as well as an important increase in flow velocity. The next step is the rehabilitation of the distribution network, where we have renewed all the pipes other than the currently installed ones (HDPE) because they are in very poor condition, we have added pipes to reinforce the network and ensure that water comes to the blackheads. We also monitored water quality across the network, knowing the chlorine level in all nodes and taking action when sudden contamination occurred in any part of the network. We also developed the project management aspect: execution of works, volume of earthworks, work planning and cost estimate, and ensure the proper execution of the project works.
