Spillways are safety devices used in dams to manage and reduce the risks of flooding in the reservoir and control the detrimental consequences that may result from it. In this regard, two types of spillways are being studied to allow the passage of floods through the Enkouche Dam in the ANNABA province. The selection of the optimal option will be made after conducting a civil engineering study for the dam. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to gather all the geomorphological and climatic data related to the watershed, followed by the hydrology of the dam site, which will enable us to determine the design flow.en_US
