dc.description.abstract	In this work we have done an assessment of the drinking water system of ELMAHMEL city in the willaya of KHENCHELA. Also, we have identified the failing portion the network. Then we have done the adequate modification to ensure the hydraulic behavior in term of pressure and discharge. For this purpose we have partially changed the design of the network in order to optimize its operating conditions We have used ̏ WATER CAD ̋ software to simulate hydraulic behavior of the existing network and also as support tool for the design of the new network. This allowed a better visualization of the hydraulic operating conditions. Suggested installation will ensure the functioning of the system to the study horizon of 2035.	en_US
