Conception et dimensionnement du système d'alimentation en eau potable de la ville de Ain Touila (w. Khenchela)

Abstract

This work consists in a study for the renewal of the drinking water supply system for the city of Ain Touila (wilaya Khenchela ), integrating the existing network, storage structures and taking in consideration the development plans and future urban developments. Through this study, we first gave an overview of the status of various water resources, then we estimated water needs of the population of the city to the year 2044. After the study of alternative draft and because of the obsolescence of the distribution system we partly renewed the distribution network by reallocating the use of storage facilities (buffer storage tank converted into a distribution tank), and using a pressure regulating system. Finally, we proposed a management tool through hydraulic modeling, using EPANET, for the drinking water supply network of Ain Touila
