Diagnostic et réhabilitation du reseau d'alimentation en eau potable du centre Mezloug (w. Sétif)

Abstract

Mezloug zone knows at present a problem in the field of drinking water supply, This problem is due to essentially the old state of the under-sized mains where a bad designing and a high percentage of leaks are observed.Our study consists in establishing a diagnosis of the system of drinking water supply of the town of Mezloug . First, we have presented the general situation of the different components of drinking water system, water sources, networks and the different storage structures. Then, we have estimated the people’s needs of water until the year of 2040. After that, we have compared this need and the resources. Moreover, we have simulated the network with a computer programme (Epanet ), with this simulation we have arrived to count the problems of network, and then suggest a solution to repair the network. For the horizon of 2040 we suggest to concept a new network with PEHD pipes because the distribution network is very old .Finally, we have tilked about the management of water networks.
