The world is struggling with a water crisis as a result of the climate issues besides the incapacity of the conventional strategies to supply and manage this valuable source, the non conventional strategies like sea water desalination which is considered as a successful and a long term solution since it sustained only on the technology that being used without the slightest need for hydrologic nor the climate conditions. The current study presents a comparison standing on both technical and economical aspects between two thermal water distillation methods (multi stage flash distillation and vapor compression on multiple effects distillation) applied on liquefied gas plant in order to produce industrial waters. The study aims for pointing out the optimum technique that involves the higher output and the lower cost through calculating the price of one cubic metre of water produced with taking into account the outputs of both thecnics.en_US
