The commune of Haizer located in north of Bouira city is currently supplied from drillings. Due to the drought that has affected the region in recent years and water increasing demand that has led to the overexploitation of the aquifer that significantly reduce the underground resources. This phenomenon forced us to look for a new water source to fill water deficit declared by the local authorities. The issue is a part of the objective of studying the region’s water supply master plan and finding solutions to choose the best way to transfer water from a new source. After analyzing the situation, the most appropriate solution is to project a water pipe (depending on the topography of the study area) connecting the city’s water supply system with the Tilzdzit dam treatment plant . After a technical study, it turns out that in order to meet Haier’s water supply needs by 2048 with an endowment according to the current norms of the country, it is requested to project a system comprising of two pumping stations and an HDPE supply pipe for 9.4 km including all necessary accessories for its long-term project.en_US
