Etude du renforcement de l'alimentation en eau potable de la ville de M'sila à partir du réservoir de Sidi Aissa.

Abstract

The present study consists in assessing the hydraulic potential of the town of M'sila. The main objective is to compare the existing water resources with the population’s current and future needs. To urgently address the significant deficit in M'sila City, a proposal would be to reallocate the flow transferred to Sidi Aissa from the Koudiat Acerdoune Dam to M'sila City on an 81 km linear. Accordingly, a water supply system will be dimensioned to ensure this transfer; since it is a gravitational type system a protection of the pipes against a transient phenomenon (water hammer) is also considered. Finally, a methodology is established for implementing the project and the means deployed to ensure proper execution.
