dc.description.abstractThe tense situation in terms of drinking water supply experienced by the city of BEN ACHOUR in Blida requires a diagnostic study of the current drinking water distribution network and the proposal of a master plan to improve it, and this is exactly the aim of this work. The diagnosis of the network and its components revealed numerous anomalies, where the majority of its pipes are made of asbestos-cement and galvanized steel. Thus, the hydraulic simulation of the network using the Epanet software revealed several malfunctions of the network linked to the pressure at nodes and the speed of the water in the pipes, hence the proposal of rehabilitation allowing the proper functioning of the network to cover the future needs of the area (horizon 2050).en_US
