Etude de l'approvisionnement en eau potable de la ville de Biskra à partir du barrage Koudiat Medouar (w.Batna)

Abstract

The city of Biskra is supplied with drinking water from groundwater. These resources are currently overexploited, in addition, in terms of quality; the water that serves the city of Biskra has a high rate of salinity that exceeds on average the recommendations of the WHO. It is within this framework that the project of drinking water supply of the city of Biskra from the dam koudiat Medouar to cover the future needs in drinking water of this city. The project includes the presentation of the study area and the estimation of its drinking water needs. In order to bring these quantities of water to the required location, all the elements of the transfer will be addressed, including the technical-economic sizing of the conveyance, the study of the pumping stations, and the storage by the reservoirs.
