Abstract: The medications contain active substances that are designed to interact with the living. When medications are found in the environment, their bioactive properties may affect other non-target organisms in their design. According to current knowledge, the elimination of these pharmaceutical residues in water can be biologically treated by oxidative treatment with ozone or activated carbon adsorption. In our thesis we discussed the possibility before processing these residues particularly diclofenac by solar radiation. Experimental results showed that after 24 hours of irradiation diclofenac is partially transformed by releasing byproduct processing.
