Abstract

The work envisaged in this dissertation proposes an installation of a test bench at the water tarpaulin near the pumping laboratory (ENSH) for the construction of the characteristic curves of two identical pumps mounted in series. The resulting curves will be interpreted and compared with those given by the constructor. To do this, we have taken the pump (40 NVA - 150 - 5) of radial centrifugal type as a case of study with an in-depth study of all its characteristics. Concerning the practical part of the work, we divided it into two stages:  Installation with a single pump. Installation with two identical pumps mounted in series.
