Water intrusion and extrusion are two phenomena that contribute to the degradation of sanitation systems. Intrusion is at the origin of the high flows in the pipes while the extrusion can cause contamination of the underground water tables. However, they remain difficult to predict, their quantification is often difficult, and uncertain .The objective of this work is to - Identify and compare the methods of evaluation of unwanted water in order to assess the volumes of the undesirable clear waters estimated by the different methods and the variability of the difference between the different estimates. - Analyze the sensitivity of the Darcy model on the exfiltration rates in a sanitation pipe by using the Monte Carlo simulation.en_US
