Abstract

The design of the uncovered canals represents a real problem, especially to the stability of the banks and the bottom. Knowing that the high mobility of the bottoms of the Algerian oueds, as well as intensive floods cause a strong erosion and represents a real engineering challenge. The present work aims to simplify the dimensioning of erodible canals by developing their hydraulic design program in the case of Algerian oueds study.
