dc.description.abstract | As part of the management of sanitation networks in terms of safety and proper functioning, the establishment of retention basins is one of the solutions used to protect the agglomeration and the network against the risk of flooding in the first place as well as the reduction in pollution of natural waterways. In this document, we have made a bibliographic synthesis on the evolution of these techniques. Then, we presented the types and stages of design, and their impact on the external environment as well as the choice of a sizing method according to the availability of data at the scale of our sewerage network of "Ferkat Mjahdia". The sizing methods are also presented. And we ended this work with a presentation of the result of applying the basin on the last network and their influence on the network sizing. | en_US |
