La vulnérabilité urbaine face au risque d'inondation de la localité El Baten, zone A commune Boussaâda (w. M'Sila)

Abstract

The question of general natural risks, especially floods, is a hot topic, marking a memorable action in the world, especially in Algeria. Indeed, this type of risk management is becoming more and more necessary and must include all the actors and all possible means. In reality, the risk of flooding is the result of two factors: the hazard represented by the probability of occurrence of the flooding phenomenon is its intensity, and the vulnerability to flooding defined by the foreseeable consequences of the flooding. The empirical part of our work was focused on the evaluation of urban vulnerability by providing a map; this map was produced using a geometry preparation under Arcgis and flood modelling using HEC RAS.
