In the field of water purification and production. Depth filtration is a crucial element for its contribution in improving efficiency. Since this technique was first developed in 1970, work to improve it has focused on its main component, the granulometric bed. This work consists of comparing three variants, zeolite, sand and recycled glass. It details their basic characteristics, their granulometry and the pressure drop caused by their use in the three typesof depth filtration: slow, fast and pressure filter.en_US
