dc.description.abstractIn order to protect agglomerations against floods, the study of the solid transport phenomenon of rivers is essential on the management of this risk during the flood period. In this work, first of all we approached the notion of solid transport due to the problem of deposit and consolidation of sediment in the rivers, and then we introduced the risk of flooding which is the consequence of solid transport presented by the evolution. The height of water in rivers and wadis. So in order to protect towns against flooding, we have to make a development of the waterways, which is the last point dealt with in this modest work.en_US
