The problem of the natural risks in general and the Floods in particular is a subject of topicality, which marks a memorable action in the world and specifically in Algeria. In order to fight against this risk, several types of flow modeling have been developed to delimit flood zones. In general, the one-dimensional model is imprecise in estimating the speed field in floodplains. The purpose of this study is to delimit flood zone by comparing HEC-RAD 1D and 2D.en_US
