The tool we have proposed is based on the principle of coupling calculation software with Matlab software simulation hydraulic Epanet. This coupling is provided through the dynamic link library (DLL ) that allows us to access the parameters of the hydraulic model in Epanet from calculation software Matlab. The library also offers us the opportunity to launch hydraulic simulations and those changes to the hydraulic model parameters while remaining on Matlab. From there, we developed a program in Matlab that accesses the hydraulic model and makes changes to the calibration parameters through genetic algorithms. These changes are in effect a regeneration of new parameters that are conditioned by the objective function (which must be as small as possible ) and the linear constraint, this regeneration is continued until the calibration parameters adapt to the new environment the model that is provided by the measurement data injected into the program. And thus a calibrated model with simulated values will coincide with the values measured with a permissible error margin is obtained. The use of a non-calibrated model is not good engineering practice, since it will undoubtedly lead to inaccurate results that cause bad decisions.en_US
