The over exploitation of the aquifer of the Mitidja due to the exodus and the over populationon the one hand; And environmental changes such as agricultural practices and climatefluctuations in recent years have led to declines in ground water levels and changes in chemical properties of Level of that area. This leaves questions about the use of thèse waters for potability or irrigation. The analysis of the overall quality of the water showed that these have an average quality and they belong in whole to a single chemical facies: a chloride and sulphated calcium and magnesium facies. Similarly, the study revealed that the dégradation of the ground water quality of the Mitidja aquifer is of géological and anthropogenic origin.en_US
