Simulating the transformation of rainfall into runoff at the catchment scale using mathematical models has seen considerable developments since the early 1960s due to increasing computing capacities. There is today a large number of existing models that represent the link between rainfall and streamflow by a series of interconnected storages Comparative studies on these types of models have evaluated their strengths and weaknesses. The objective is to evaluate the performance of the rainfall-flow models GR2M, GR4J, GR5J and GR6J, which we applied to the Oued Sébaou watershed. The first phase of this work consists in the development of models that can account for the rainfall-flow relationship. In the second phase, we tried to characterize some factors; in particular geomorphological and hydroclimatic; governing the flow. Finally, we applied the GR model to our basinen_US
