Etude du systeme d'alimentation en eau potable de le village de Hmadchia commune de Mkhatria (w. Ain defla)

Abstract

The village of Hmadchia, located in the commune of Mekhatria (Aïn Defla province), suffers from a drinking water shortage due to the absence of a structured supply network. This thesis proposes a solution based on the use of a local borehole and the Mekhatria reservoir, through a structured study comprising several stages: estimation of water needs by the year 2055, design of a pumping-based water supply system with pump selection, along with a second gravity-fed system, design of the distribution network modeled using EPANET, and planning for pipeline installation. The results obtained confirm the technical feasibility of the project and its ability to sustainably meet the water needs of the population.
