Etude de faisabilité d'une retenue collinaire sur oued Ariouia commune de Kef Lakhdar (w. Medea)

Abstract

Within the framework of agricultural development in Algeria and for the purpose of good use of water resources and to ensure good management, the Algerian governement gave a greate priority to the building of dams. Willaya of Media, is a very important agricultural area. In order to fulfil the water needs of KEF LAKHDAR town, we have studied the completion of a small dam in ARIOUIA valley so we can reach the requirements of the peasants of this agricultural area. After a precise and complete study of the various stages "geology, hydrology, and topography), we have chosen an alternative solution, by establishing the dam and checking its stability. Concerning the achievement of this study ,we tried to give an explanation 0f all calculating stages.
