dc.description.abstract | .Flooding is a phenomenon resulting from heavy floods and the degradation of the receiving environment. It falls within the scope of major natural disasters due to the scale and severity of the damage caused by its occurrence. Oued Beni Messous (W. Algiers) is a receiving environment subject to this phenomenon. Several malfunctions have been recorded along its course, such as: The overflow of Oued Beni Messous near the "Les Dunes" beach, leading to the collapse of the CW111 bridge. The rupture of the DN1200 pipeline supplying the Beni Messous wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) along the RN11. Flooding and closure of the RN11 due to landslides near the Beni Messous lagooning basins. Road surface subsidence on the CW111 over the Oued Beni Messous. Flooding of agricultural lands. To prevent and mitigate this phenomenon, it is essential to implement appropriate development works that meet both technical and natural constraints. Our study will aim to identify the flow responsible for these various malfunctions and propose suitable solutions. | en_US |
