Algeria strives to maintain and store significant amounts of water lost in the sea and the border with the establishment of large-scale projects in order to take advantage of these quantities. For that, the National Agency for Dams and Transfers sees that it is needed to construct dams and water barriers. Under that context, comes our note to undertake a detailed study of Keff Eddir dam in the municipality of Damous W. Tipaza. Therefore, we have conducted a comprehensive in-depth study from all sides (topographical, geological, and hydrological) where it was proposed four types of dams for choice. Finally, we selected a type that fulfils all the technical and economic conditions. The project was ended by designing the water barrier and checks its stability. As for the realization, we have explained deeply and in details various stages of completion.en_US
