Evaluation des changement d'occupation du sol cas du haut Cheliff

Abstract

The region of high Cheliff is one of the areas in Algeria, located in the center of the country and including several municipalities. It is a vital and dynamic region on a national level, experiencing continuous demographic growth. That’s why, we studied the changes in land use in this area by relying on satellite imagery and geographic information systems. The retrospective method used is based on the use of supervised methods to identify the soil categories of Haut Cheliff in years 2013, 2018, 2022, to see the evolution of the land use in high Cheliff.
