Abstract: | This study focuses on highlighting the impact of seawater desalination plants, specifically the brine solution produced by the ship's desalination station. The salt concentrations in the brine solution range between 50 and 80 grams per liter, compared to 37 grams per liter in sea-water. Although this salt currently precipitates in the sea without significant environmental impact, prolonged discharge of large quantities may lead to an imbalance in marine water for-mation. As part of this project, a series of chemical and physical analyses were conducted on sea-water and brine solution, in addition to implementing various methods to assess the manage-ment of saline water produced by the seawater desalination station at Burj Al-Kifan (Bateau Casée station) using the EXCEL program. These methods included improving the efficiency of current systems and ensuring good integration of brine solution with seawater to minimize environmental impact |
