Abstract

The management of leaks in a drinking water network has a major importance in the preservation of water resources. In this work we will be interested in the factors causing the leaks, the variation of the failures according to the type of pipes. We will discuss thereafter the different ways of managing and modulating the pressure in the drinking water supply networks ending by the determination of the volume of undistributed water in a sector of the northern part of the drinking water supply network of the city of BOUFARIK caused by the pipeline’s failures.
