This study aims to evaluate and develop flood management solutions for the Oued Safsaf, a watercourse crossing the new city of Bouinane in Algeria, to reduce the risks of flooding due to climate change and rapid urbanization. The study is based on a detailed characterization of the watershed, hydrological analyses, and hydraulic modeling to assess flood risks and identify high-risk areas, using simulation tools such as ArcGIS Pro and HEC-RAS. Following a techno-economic study, a solution was proposed: a mixed canal alternating between gabion sections and buried box culverts. This project balances flood protection, environmental sustainability, and economic feasibility.en_US
