dc.description.abstract	This work is concerned with the design of a small dam for the irrigation of 38 hectares of agricultural land in the Constantine region. The study focused on an in-depth analysis of the hydrological, geotechnical and technical aspects of the site, taking into account the topography, soil conditions, and available water resources. After studying the different design variants, a homogeneous dam of 15 m height was chosen, with a storage capacity of 0.283 Mm3. This solution was chosen following an analysis guaranteeing the stability, safety and efficiency of the structure; the design aims to meet irrigation needs while adapting to the particularities of the site	en_US
