dc.description.abstract | This work is a contribution to the study of wave Fodde Oued dam, located southeast of the city wadi fodder, 13km upstream of the city el karimia in western Algeria. A code of calculating the wave of dam failures, based on the finite element method can be applied to this book. We do the outline. The area chosen is the axis of Wadi fodder, over a length of 14 km. 85 sections computing (profiles) of about 550m wide each are placed every 200 meters along the field and averaged 6 points were chosen to set the grid area. A study of onedimensional wave propagation bursting of the dam shows that the maximum water level exceeded two meters in several places and even reached ten to sixty-hundred meters at certain points. The speeds have exceeded the threshold of 25m / s, making the torrential flow into several sections. The results of calculations have shown media map indicating areas vulnerable pieces of information useful for governments | en_US |
