Our work is concerned with the comparison of the methods of calculation of the friction coefficient in pressure circular pipes. The research is based on three relationships: The Darcy- Weisbach equation, the Colebrook-White equation and Reynolds Number. The turbulent flow is characterized by the number of Reynolds 𝑅𝑒 and the relative roughness ε/D. Firstly, the friction coefficient is calculated by the precise relation of Colebrook-White, and by the explicit formulas of Swamee and Jain, of Achour et al and that of Achour and Bedjaoui. Then by the comparison one can draw interesting conclusions on the reliability and flexibility of Achour and Bedjaoui's formula.en_US
