Abstract

Drinking-water distribution systems contain surfaces that can be considered hydro dynamically rough. Bibliographic research shows that this roughness evolves over time, under the influence of several factors. These changes can have a significant effect on the capacity and pressure drop of a distribution network. This work aims to make a bibliographical synthesis of the studies carried out in this direction and carry out an analysis of the hydraulic parameters of an old drinking water supply network using the Epanet software.
