Abstract: The city of Halouia is facing challenges in its potable water supply due to an old network, increasing demand, and frequent outages. This study aims to thoroughly diagnose the current state of the network and propose rehabilitation solutions to improve water distribution. After estimating the water needs for the year 2054, it was determined that a storage deficit is anticipated, necessitating the construction of a new 500 m³ reservoir. The hydraulic diagnosis identified issues with pressure and flow velocity within the network, with old pipes (such as those made of AMC) posing risks. In response, a new layout using polyethylene high-density (PEHD) pipes has been proposed to balance pressures and velocities, ensuring optimal water distribution during peak demand periods and in the event of a fire, whilealsospecifying the location of necessaryaccessories. Finally, the studyoutlined the methodology for installing the pipelines, the organization of the construction site, and provided an estimation of the projectcost, including the planned duration for effective implementation of the works.
