Abstract: The city of Sour El Ghozlane, located in Bouira, is facing a significant deterioration of its drinking water distribution network. This degradation is marked by a growing number of failures, frequent leaks, and a progressively insufficient capacity to meet the increasing water demands of its population. In response to these challenges, this research aims to conduct an exhaustive diagnostic study of the water supply network using the Epanet software. This tool allows for a detailed evaluation of the network’s hydraulic performance and highlights the primary physical and technical deficiencies. The analysis of simulations performed with Epanet revealed several critical points, including significant pressure drops at certain network nodes, insufficient flow velocities in various sections, and uneven pressure distribution across different areas of the city. These malfunctions have a direct impact on the quality and continuity of the drinking water supply service. Based on these findings, specific recommendations are proposed in this thesis.
