This work addresses the overall design of a drinking water supply network for rural areas in the towns of Ouled Antar, Ouled Hellal, and Boghar, located in the Médéa province. The study begins with the Birine catchment area. We will determine the pipe dimensions, both for gravity flow and pressurized systems, considering the technico-economic perspective. Additionally, we’ll design storage tanks and pumping stations, selecting appropriate pumps. Finally, we’ll implement measures to protect the pipes from water hammer effects. The study aims to enhance the living conditions of the rural population by ensuring reliable drinking water supply, thereby preventing rural migration and promoting agricultural development.en_US
