dc.description.abstractTo assess the underground resources of the city of Meftah taking into account all categories of water consumption, we have proposed in this thesis a decision support system “SAD” and it isstudied according to the following stages:(1) Present the different “SADs” historically and propose a hydraulic model in particular the “WEAP”; and (2) check and estimate the volume stored in the Mitidja aquifer and compare it to the total water demand in thirty years. Going through the previous stages, we found that the underground resources are sufficient by 2050, but it is time for the Algerian decision-maker to take steps to protect the water table, especially in terms of recharge.en_US
