Etude du perimetre d'irrigation d'El Hennaya (200ha) a partir de la STEP de Ain El Hout (w.Tlemcen)

Abstract

The main objective of this thesis is the hydro-agricultural development of the HENNAYA perimeter, which covers an area of 200 hectares, using the treated waters from the Ain el HOUT wastewater treatment plant in the wilaya of Tlemcen. To effectively manage the use of irrigation water, we conducted an in-depth analysis of climatic data and soil characteristics. This analysis aims to ensure adequate water supply in terms of flow and pressure, and to estimate the water needs of the perimeter. At the end of the project, an appropriate irrigation system was designed, including sprinkler and drip irrigation, due to their efficiency in irrigation water use. The design of the new water supply network will contribute to better water management, increased crop productivity, and the modernization of agriculture in the HENNAYA plain.
