Etude d'aménagement hydro-agricole du périmètre Collo secteur 2 (180ha) à partir du barrage Béni Zid (W. Skikda)

Abstract

This dissertation mainly aims to plan a new irrigation system in the Collo plain in the wilaya of Skikda. The study is based on an irrigation system from the Beni Zid dam, to irrigate sector 2 with an area of 180 ha of arable land. After analysis of climatological, soil and agronomic data, it was possible to judiciously choose the crops to be planted in the region and to estimate water needs. We recommended the use of efficient irrigation techniques to ensure adequate water supply in terms of flow and pressure, while ensuring optimal use of water resources. This method offers the possibility of increasing crop yields while minimizing costs.
