Etude d'aménagement du périmètre de Raouraoua (200 ha) à partir du barrage de LAKEHAL (W. Bouira).

Abstract

The main objective of this thesis is the hydro-agricultural development of the Raouraoua perimeter, covering an area of 200 hectares using water from the Lakhal dam, located in the Arribs plains in the wilaya of Bouira. In order to effectively manage the use of irrigation water, we conducted a thorough analysis of climatic data and soil characteristics to ensure a reliable water supply in terms of flow rate and pressure, and thus estimate the water needs of the perimeter. As part of the project, an appropriate irrigation system has been planned, including sprinkler and drip irrigation, due to their efficiency in water use. The implementation of the new distribution network will contribute to better water management, increased crop productivity, and the modernization of agriculture in the Arribs plains.
