Etude du système d'assainissement de la zone " vallée des jardins " (w.Mostaganem)

Abstract

The Vallée des Jardins, located in the wilaya of Mostaganem, is facing serious effluent discharge problems due to the obsolescence and poor management of its current sewage network. Now obsolete, this network no longer meets the region's growing needs, and has shortcomings that increase the risk of flooding and pollution. To remedy this situation, this study aims to design a drainage system. We opted for a combined sewer system, directing wastewater and rainwater to a natural outlet equipped with a wastewater treatment plant. After gathering all the necessary data, we determined the quantity of water to be evacuated, calculated the dimensions of the pipes and drew up the network plan. An economic estimate of the project was also carried out to determine the total cost.
